Good Dog Animal Rescue was there to help Rescue abandoned animals in IOWA's  historical Disaster of 2008 !!!

The aftermath....Look at the water lines on some of these homes...animals lives will never be the same for some...

These homes were under water the night before.... 

This room was completely submerged...the water level was over my head...look at the surounding walls...not good !!!

Jocelyn leads by example...even though it is not a safe structure to be in...she still risks her life to save yet another animal !!!

Most of these animals left behind will never see or live in these homes again...they just want a place to call HOME !!!

We are in the business of saving the lives of animals...both cats and dogs from being killed by the over population of pets in the society we live in.

A "true" rescue is only complete when our animals we save are ADOPTED into loving homes !!! Yes it's true we go into the "KILL" shelters here in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas and we pull dogs and cats out of harms way and work with them to get them adopted ...But, until they get adopted our job is almost pointless !!! We are aggressively seeking loving homes for "good animals" that are healthy and desperate for a someone to Love and care for them !!!
